The play takes place in an ore-drilling outfit where the men are as rough as the conditions they are forced to exist. Within in sweltering heat of an arid North-Western landscape, eight hardened labourers combat their after-hours boredom with games that test their loyalty . . . negotiating their status through rituals that affirm their masculinity, identity and self respect.
